Razor

Each hair that burns away
Is one step closer to the day
I can chuck that razor
And forego the laser
To feel pretty
When I’m about in the city

Trough

Hiding in a trough
I await the next wave
To lift me to a peak

Defiant

The defiant child
Does not know
They steal from their future
When resistant to aged wisdom
That crosses them so

Gulping

Great hopes crash land
When wind beneath your wings
Is sucked away
In gulping breaths
By fear

Debtors

In debtors dreams
Avoid parking garages
Loading docks
And men
Or you’ll end up in a crate
Opened on fields of war

Blurs

The fog upon the window
blurs the world
like my eyes
upon my life

‘Ole Johnson

‘Ole Johnson went down to the shed
Yes he did
And ‘Ole Johnson found ‘em there
Yes he did
‘Ole Johnson found the body
‘Ole Johnson found the body
Yes he did
Yes he did
And ‘Ole Johnson let ‘em lie
Yes he did
Just let ‘em lie
Yes he did
Let ‘em lie there in the muck
Yes he did
And ‘Ole Johnson let him lie there
Yes he did
Because he put ‘em there
Yes he did
Yes he did
‘Ole Johnson put ‘em there
Yes he did
Yes he did
Yes ‘Ole Johnson put ‘em there
Yes he did
