Bliss

Shattered open from fiery collision
Blissful memories abide within my heart
Now guarded by a stone of the moon
And ere it beats its final thump
The petals of my love forevermore fill the broken spaces
A bed for the light my star-sister left behind to lay within
And as the gravity that holds her to her orbit carries her away
Into dusty nebulae of distance and time
I will look to the sky every so often
Curious if our mutual perturbations
Left us hyper- or parabolic
And wonder if she continues to recede
Or is returning to claim her rightful place
In the exultant fairy dance with me
